2015 Cleveland Auto Show

So, here's the thing: I haven't shot many cars lately. It's time to change that.

These are shots from the 2015 Cleveland Auto Show at the IX Center in Cleveland. Put on annually by the Greater Cleveland Atomobile Dealer's Association, it's an opportunity for automotive manufacturers and their dealer networks to connect with the buying public, and perhaps show off a little.

For this year's event, the role of "showing off" was taken by the all-new 2016 Ford GT; continuing the line begun by the legendary GT-40 of the 1960s. Designed specifically to beat Ferrari at Le Mans, the original car was more than up to the challenge, winning in 1966 and for the next three years after. This car was designed to continue that legacy. Likewise, it is intended to return to Le Mans this summer with Chip Ganassi Racing.

For me, it was the highlight of an enjoyable afternoon and a welcome break from the cold of winter.
